Session Description:

The cosmopolitan Oscar Wilde engaged in transatlantic artistic exchanges, immersed himself in French culture, and studied German philosophical and literary traditions. This roundtable explores his American tour; his Russian play, Vera; his work in Paris; and the influence of Lady Wilde’s translation of Sidonia the Sorceress on The Picture of Dorian Gray.
