Session Description:

A roundtable featuring current issues and discourses in Latin American disability studies, with an emphasis on the intersection of research and activism. Speakers will highlight points of contact between academia and activism through textual analysis and insights into the lived experience of persons with disabilities and will consider disability studies in relation to Latin American societies.
